Okay, I've been meaning to lay this one on you since the last time you mentioend Urethra. Does anyone remember when she appeared on Oprah many years ago and shared her recipe for banana pudding, which she said was her favourite treat? I believe it went something like this:

Oprah: The Queen of Soul is here today to share her famous recipe for banana pudding! (And make me look thinner!)
Urethra: (arrogantly) Yeah, that's right. I'm the Queen!
Oprah: Okay, so tell us about your banana pudding.
Urethra: Everyone loves my banana pudding and whenever my family gets together, they want me to make it.
Oprah: So what's your secret?
Urethra: Well, first you line a bowl with a box a Nilla Wafers.
(She lines a large glass bowl with a box of Nilla Wafers)
Urethra: Next, you pour in some banana pudding.
(She pours in the pudding)
Urethra: Now it's ready to serve.
Silence
Silence
Silence
Oprah: O-kay, we'll be right back.

I think Urethra sat there and ate the whole bowl during the commercial break.

Later, she also shared her potato salad secret: pour potato salad into a bowl. Sprinkle paprika on top of it. Eat from bowl.

Then she shared her secret for her favorite midnight snack: pull chair up to refrigerator and open door. Shake refrigerator vigorously until food falls out into your mouth. Chew. (If jaws are not already involuntarily moving.)

Later pumpkins.

I also remember when she poured coke on a ham on Martha Stewart.

I think it was coke. Classic coke that is.

And then Martha had her sing for her supper -- literally.

"radioland???" I HATE it when professionals use that tired old cliche. You guys need to replace this twit. NO WAIT! We can't lose you.

Awww. Poor Noah. Forgotten at the intro. So how did you do the sound effects - bring a PowerBook?

Thanks for sharing this one with us! You guys were great...and yet traditional radio is starting to sound positively archaic. I guess it still has its place, but I prefer to get my news from PNSexplosion!
