When a woman is on her period she gets lower back pain because her stomach is bloated. It makes you walk like you're preggers, which makes your back hurt.
Some of us are lucky enough to never get a period because of the awesome birth control we use, thus avoiding all the fun PMSiez you like to inquire about! (:
